Activities


AAML Annual Golf Tournament*

Tuesday, March 11 | 7 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Tee up with fellow family law attorneys and guests on the golf course in our Annual Golf Tournament. Registration is an additional $250/person and $55/club rentals. If you would prefer to have your own set of clubs, the golf course can work with Ship Sticks to ship your golf clubs. Note the course has limited availability in club rentals, and it will be based on first come first serve. Please make sure to fill out the fitness waiver if you plan to register.

 


Yoga*

Tuesday, March 11 | 7-8 a.m.
Wednesday, March 12 | 7-8 a.m.

Mindfully take time for a breather by taking part in our guided AAML yoga classes on Tuesday morning. Each session is $40. Please make sure to fill out the fitness waiver if you plan to register.

 


AAML Fun Run

Thursday, March 13 | 7-8 a.m.

Get your energy out early on Thursday morning by joining us for a free fun run. During the run you'll take in the gorgeous landscape of Costa Rica. Please make sure to fill out the fitness waiver if you plan to register.

 

 
Cooking Class*

Thursday, March 13 | 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Get in the kitchen and learn new recipes to take back home to your family. This class is $40.

 

 
Mixology Class*

Friday, March 14 | 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Shake things up at the Midyear Meeting by participating in a Mixology Class! During the class, you'll learn how to make fun tropical cocktails and mocktails. This class is $35.

 



Pickleball

Book private lessons, a court or join open play at Tennis Pickleball Costa Rica. Located in Hacienda Pinilla, you can book directly at hptenniscr@gmail.com. 



Prices are as follows: 

Open play: $10 per person. 
Court rentals: $20 an hour or $30 an hour with lights.
1 Hour Private Lesson: $70 + depending on the number of people
Racket rental: $5 per racket

Attendees of the Midyear Meeting receive a 20% discount on all spa massage. To schedule an appointment, email Spa.sjojw@R-HR.com and reference you are with AAML. Appointment required.

Learn first steps and techniques of surfing, practice and ride waves. Enjoy smoothies after all your hard work.



Dine Arounds

Interested in dining at a local restaurant in Tamarindo while networking with other Fellows? Sign up in registration to attend or become a leader. Restaurant locations and times will be shared at a later date.


Shuttle service from JW Guanacaste to town of Tamarindo

For shared shuttle service to and from Tamarindo, attendees can book through this website. The cost is $30 round trip/person. Please note this is a shared service with other hotel guests and tourists. The schedule for departure and return times can be found on their website.

For private shuttle service to Tamarindo, attendees must email info@gocrvision.com directly. Private shuttle prices are as follows: 

  • For 1-4 passengers: $60.50, one way.

  • For 5 passengers: $78.65, one way. 

  • For 6 passengers: $96.80, one way. 

  • For 7 passengers: $114.95, one way. 

  • For 8 passengers: $133.10, one way.

  • For 9 passengers: $151.25, one way. 

Note: The shuttle drops off at La Palapa Restaurant in Tamarindo.

Bike Rides

Kids Club
